Dunedoo Central School is a K-12 school which services a small but supportive and enthusiastic rural community. Many students live in town, with a significant number traveling to school by bus.
Students come from varied backgounds, with the school having a commitment to providing the best opportunity for all students. Support programs allow students with special needs to continue to develop their skills within a caring and supportive school environment.
A broad secondary curriculum, offered at school and through membership of the Western Access Program, caters for the range of post-school options sought by our students. Traditional curriculum has been supplemented with a wide range of vocational education options available to students through the school Trade Training Centre and through attendance at Dunedoo/Mudgee Campus of TAFE. Dunedoo Central School has made a commitment to the School to Work program to widen the opportunities available for an increasing range of student abilities and diverse post-school requirements.
