Good Start Breakfast Club
The 'Breakfast Club' program allows all students to have a proper breakfast before school. Data has shown that students who have a proper nutritional breakfast are more attentive, have greater concentration and have less behavioural problems at school. Students are able to choose from a honey or Vegemite on toast, scambled eggs on toast, pancakes with maple syrup and warm Milo, which is a great base for a nutritional start to the day.
This program runs every Thursday between the times of 8:30am and 8:50am by our volunteers.
All students are welcome to attend. Should any parents/guardians have any concerns or issues over their child attending please feel free to contact the school to discuss the matter.
Breakfast is free. All students need to do to be a part of this program is turn up and-
- Sign in,
- Wash their hands,
- Say 'Good Morning' to the volunteers and
- Wash/wipe up their plates etc after they've eaten.
